Born in Australia and raised in Dubai, the Moroccan-Slovak discovered her love for singing and dancing from an early age. Starting her dancing career at only three years old, YAS trained at some of the best studios in Los Angeles under Matt Steffanina, Brian Friedman, Jojo Gomez, Janelle Ginestra, Nika Kljun, Jake Kodish, Nicole Kirkland and many more.

At the age of sixteen, she began writing and composing her own music. Her songwriting reflects her personal experiences, emotions, and aspirations, resonating with listeners who can relate to her relatable lyrics and heartfelt melodies.

Beyond music, YAS is a passionate content creator, utilising her creativity to engage with her audience across various platforms. Her Instagram and TikTok feeds are filled with dance routines, behind-the-scenes glimpses of her collaborations with some of the best brands in the world, and amazing renditions showcasing her diverse talents and personality.

2019 saw her asserting her status as a truly independent artist by launching her own dance studio, where she teaches LA-style dance, vocal lessons, and artist development programs. While in 2023, she won the singing category of the FilmFare Award. She also received strong support from internationally acclaimed media such as Virgin Radio, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire.

With her undeniable talent, limitless ambitions, and growing fan base, YAS is hard at work in the studio on her debut album in collaboration with other emerging producers and artists.
